POLYTECHNIC ADMISSION 2002-2003

Applications are invited from eligible students for admission 2002-2003. June 21st is the last date for receiving the application forms.There are 9,430 Seats (From 48 Polytechnics) and there are 7 More (Model Plytechnics).
This Year Changes have been made in the application schme.Separate application forms has to be given for each polytechnics.One can apply in more than one Institute.
Details are Given below.
Qualification: S.S.L.C/Equvalent Pass (Native of Kerala)
Maths,Physics and Chemistry in total should have 50% Mark.
Mathematics alone :40%
Physics+Chemistry :40%
For S.E.B.C Students its is 45%,40%and 40% respectively (But Annul Income should be with in 2.5Laks.
SC/ST : Pass
Students having ITI/THSLC/Texttile certificate :Qualification Equvalent to S.E.B.C
Application form fee : RS 100 Only (SC/ST RS 50)
Available with : All Polytechnics
Submission : To the respective Polytechnic Principal.
Last date : June 21st 2002.
Separate Application for has to be given for Management Quata Seats.

There are 7 Model polytechnics under I.H.R.D and they are at Vadakara(Kozhikode),Kalletum Kara(Maala), Mattakara(KOttayam), Kallyasseri(Kannur), Painavu(Idukki), Theekkoyi(Eerattupetta), Karunagapilly(Kollam)
Qualification: Physics+Chemistry+Maths :60%
Chemisrty+Physics : 50%
Mathematics :50%
S.E.B.C : 55%,50%and 50% Respectively
SC/ST : 35%.
Courses Offered : Applied Electronics,Computer Hardware Maintenance,Medical Electronics, Tele Communication Technology
Application form+Prospectus : Rs 100 (or DD of Rs 130 for via Psotel).
